The Pilgrimage Ordeal is 8/11-13 at Camp Tukabatchee. The late fee deadline is 8/4. Be sure to register by then. We have a lot of good projects lined up and a lot of Ordeal candidates. Please arrive by 6:15pm on Friday if possible so you’ll be able to join us at the banquet.
Our annual awards banquet is going to take place at dinner on Friday night of the Pilgrimage. That should start about 6:40pm. This won’t be as formal as our traditional banquets. We hope to hold a regular, formal banquet next year. We’d like for you to attend the entire weekend, but if you cannot we’d like to see you for the banquet and pre-Ordeal ceremony. The fee for this is $5.
You can register for both the Pilgrimage and banquet HERE. Banquet is INCLUDED with your Pilgrimage fee so do not pay for both.
Also, the council is holding a back to school, back to Scouting party at the Montgomery Riverwalk Amphitheater on 8/1 at 6pm. The lodge has been asked to provide 15-20 guys to help run the event. If you’re able to help please reply to this email letting us know. Those who staff the event will be eligible to buy one of our service flaps ($2).
